Product description

Modular keystone design: This 19-inch, 24-port Cat6 patch panel uses individual keystone inserts rather than a single 110-style punch block. Each keystone snaps into the panel and is terminated independently with a punch-down, which makes initial wiring and later servicing simpler.

What’s included and materials: The package contains the 24-port metal panel, gold-plated Cat6 keystone jacks rated for 10 Gigabit transmission, clear keystone end caps, a small hand punch tool, and mounting hardware. The frame is metal for rack durability; keystones and end caps are molded plastic with gold contacts for improved conductivity.

Cable management and installation: The panel is built for 19-inch racks or wall-mount brackets and includes a rear back bar with tie points where zip ties can be used to secure cables and reduce stress on terminations. The clear end caps help hold cable jackets in place and the small punch tool provided fits the keystone blocks for fast terminations.

Flexible connectivity: Because the panel accepts keystones, you can populate it with a mix of connectors—Cat6 RJ45, coax, fiber adapters, HDMI, USB, or blank inserts—making future changes or upgrades easier without replacing the whole panel. Empty slots may also serve as simple passthroughs for cabling.

Serviceability and upgrades: If a port develops a fault, the keystone can be removed for inspection or swapped without disturbing the other 23 ports. The modular approach is handy for remodels or incremental network upgrades and is compatible as an upgrade from older Cat5 installations.

Pros

  • Removable keystone modules for easy repairs and upgrades
  • Gold-plated Cat6 jacks support 10Gb performance
  • Back bar and end caps simplify cable management and strain relief

Cons

  • Occasional fitment or bent-pin quality issues on individual jacks
  • Some snap-in groups can feel loose in multi-module frames
  • Plastic label covers may not stay firmly seated

VerdictThis modular 24-port keystone patch panel is a practical, serviceable choice for small to medium racks and wall mounts. The removable keystone modules make terminations and repairs straightforward and allow mixing different connector types in the same footprint. Gold-plated Cat6 keystones support 10 Gigabit performance and the included back bar and tie points help with strain relief. Watch for occ

Customer reviews

  1. Chris Young 5/5

Punch-down was straightforward and tidy cable runs

Used this for a home network upgrade. Patching made it easy to label and move devices without unplugging the switch. Installed the rack, PDU, switch, then this panel—working at the future panel level with a flat surface makes wiring easier. Leave some spare cable behind the panel for service or adding ports.

  2. Eric Tate 5/5

    Solid build, no complaints

Good quality and exactly what I needed.

  3. Anon 4/5

Two defective keystones out of 24

Decent panel overall, but two keystone jacks arrived with bent contacts leaving only 22 usable ports. The clear label caps are loose too. Customer service was responsive and refunded the cost.

  4. Jim Schu 3/5

Acceptable but I'll try a different brand

Removable keystones are helpful for tight spaces, but the design snaps groups of eight into the frame (three top, three bottom for a 48-port style) and those groups weren’t snug. Individual jacks fit well, but the grouped modules felt loose and a bit cheap.

  5. M. Harmison 5/5

    Simple to mount and reliable

Installed quickly and has worked without issues.

  6. RDyer 5/5

    Good for installs at work

We order these for job sites—makes installs look tidy and consistent.

  7. Mr. Crabby 5/5

Works well, tight fit when packing jacks

Performed as expected for our project. If you punch down jacks first then insert them, a jack holder can help—crowded insertion is a bit snug but functionality is fine.

  8. ronald Passow 5/5

    Complete kit, quality materials

Everything required was in the box and it completed the job cleanly.
