Product description
A compact lavender button press built for hands-on creativity—This kit features a distinctive lavender-purple press sized for 58mm/2.25in buttons. The package contains one fully assembled button maker machine plus 30 complete button sets: metal covers, plastic pin backs, clear protective films, and pre-cut paper inserts. A manual circle cutter is included so you can precisely prepare artwork before pressing.
Ready to use with no assembly required—The press comes assembled and can be used straight away. Load your artwork into the cutter, trim to size, and follow the two-step pressing routine. Because the unit is prebuilt, it’s suitable for teens, classrooms, and hobbyists who want a low-friction start.
How it operates—To make a badge, place the metal shell into the die, lay the printed design on top, then add the clear film. Pull the handle to form the face. Next position the plastic back with its pin side down and press again to crimp the pieces together. The 58mm diameter yields a noticeably large badge suitable for logos, photos, or illustrations.
Construction and performance—The body is molded plastic with a reinforced frame to help maintain alignment during pressing. The included components are metal for the button fronts, plastic for backs, and thin clear films for protection. While the build is intended for home and classroom tasks, producing many buttons in succession may call for extra supplies or occasional firm presses to seat parts properly.
Ideal uses and who it’s for—This pin maker is useful for crafting projects, school activities, club swag, party favors, or small promotional runs. It’s especially accessible for beginners, teachers, and family projects because it includes starter supplies and an easy cutting tool.
Refills and extras—When your initial 30 pieces run out, replacement button parts and additional films and backs can be sourced to continue larger projects. Keeping spare clear films and backs on hand will reduce interruptions during longer crafting sessions.

Solid plastic build and smooth operation
The machine is plastic but well-constructed and feels sturdy. It operates smoothly and the presses are easy to use. Comes with enough starter pieces to begin right away — overall a very practical kit for casual crafting.

Broke after a few uses
Not very durable — mine stopped working after making only three pins. Wouldn’t recommend as a gift for an older child who expects frequent use.

Works well but takes effort
It can be awkward to use until you get the hang of it; you need to press down quite hard. The final buttons are noticeably large, bigger than I expected, but the quality is good once you manage the force needed.

Kids loved it — great for tweens
Packed with pins and easy enough for my daughter and her friends to operate. They made dozens featuring favorite bands, pets, and anime characters. A hit at sleepovers and craft afternoons.

Repeated failures and wasted materials
I’ve had multiple units that either broke quickly or never worked right. It’s frustrating because it wastes printer ink, photo paper, and button parts. There aren’t many alternatives, so this has been disappointing.

Simple and effective
Very easy to operate and the finished buttons are adorable. The press does a good job of joining the pieces solidly.

YouTube tutorial saved me — replacement finally worked
I was confused at first, so I searched YouTube and found a channel called Try With A Purpose that walks through each step slowly. After following the guide I managed to make three buttons and felt really proud. My first unit didn’t work for me, but I ended up getting a replacement that functions properly. The tutorial’s slow pace was perfect for a beginner.

Made pins for the whole family
This press worked really well for me — I made pins for every family member. I did run out of film fast, mostly because I messed up a few tries. Tip: place the metal shell in first, then your artwork, then the film and ensure it’s flat before turning and pressing hard. Add the back with the pin side down, turn again and press until it seats. You should hear two clicks when done.
