Product description

This cleaner is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid in a sprayable container designed for spot treatment of mildew and mold discoloration. The formula combines a buffered-bleach system with chelating agents and surfactants to break down and lift stains on contact, minimizing the need for heavy scrubbing.

It is formulated specifically for nonporous and semi-nonporous surfaces such as fiberglass, marine vinyl, and various plastics. Because of the bleaching component, it should not be applied to painted surfaces unless you intend to repaint or refinish afterward, and it is not advised for use on fabric without a colorfastness test.

Intended as a stain remover rather than a mold-control product, it eliminates visible mildew and mold staining but does not prevent future growth. Typical use involves spraying the stained area, allowing the solution to dwell until the discoloration fades, then rinsing or wiping away residue. Follow label directions and test an inconspicuous area when in doubt.

Pros

  • Rapid contact action on mildew stains
  • Formulated for fiberglass, vinyl, and plastic
  • Requires little scrubbing for many stains

Cons

  • Not suitable for fabrics or painted finishes
  • Does not prevent future mold or mildew growth
  • Reports of occasional bottle/sprayer leakage

VerdictA powerful contact stain remover engineered for marine and outdoor hard surfaces. The buffered-bleach, chelating, and surfactant blend lifts mildew and mold discoloration quickly without aggressive scrubbing. It’s suitable for fiberglass, vinyl, and plastic trims and upholstery, but is not recommended for fabric or painted finishes unless you plan to refinish afterward. The product removes stains

Customer reviews

  1. Mom 5/5

    Worked Wonders

This cleaner removed marks from our boat seat that I thought were permanent. Very impressed with how well it pulled stains out.

  2. Hayley M. 5/5

    Fantastic on Outdoor Cushions

Did a whole set of seven seat cushions and a pillow with one bottle. No heavy scrubbing required and all the mildew stains came off. Very pleased with the outcome!

  3. Tracy Havens 5/5

    Reliable — Bought Twice

Used it on white outdoor cushions and the improvement was remarkable. It removed mold and mildew stains well. I’ve reordered it and recommended it to friends — I’ll stick with this when stains reappear.

  4. Kate Myers 5/5

    Mildew Fixed Quickly

A patch of camper mildew was gone after a simple spray-and-wipe routine. On thin canvas near a window I did notice waterproofing seemed reduced and needed resealing, whereas heavier canvas held up fine.

  5. Kdouglas91 5/5

    Exceptional on Jet Ski Seats

Removed mildew from jet ski seats quickly; most areas cleared with one application, a couple needed a second pass. It smells like bleach but did not fade the red and blue seats.

  6. Randall Glenn 5/5

    Truly Impressive Results

I tried vinegar and another cleaner first with no luck. This product worked almost immediately — I sprayed, waited a few minutes, and the mildew began to fade. A light second coat and gentle brushing removed the rest. My boat upholstery looks like new; worth trying if other methods fail.

  7. Edward J. Clark 3/5

    Cap Opened in Transit

The formula itself is effective, but one bottle arrived open and spilled inside the box. Shipping should indicate upright orientation to avoid this problem.

  8. Brad 4/5

    Cleans Well but Packaging Flaws

Product does a pretty good job with some elbow grease; not every stain disappeared but it helped a lot. Unfortunately my bottle leaked during transit and the sprayer still drips. Frustrating to lose so much product.

  9. VariousArtists 5/5

    Cleared Tent Trailer Mildew

Bought this after milder remedies left stains visible on my donated tent trailer. I protected trim, sprayed generously, waited about 30 minutes, and rinsed — spots largely disappeared and the vinyl looks much better.

  10. J. Chen 5/5

    Very Effective with Some Scrubbing

Didn’t expect much, but with a little scrubbing the mildew came off our boat surfaces — about 90% removed and almost back to original. I’ll use this yearly and it also cleans shower mildew well.

  11. Gail 5/5

    Fantastic Cleaning Power

This product is fantastic! It removed all the mildew stains from my pontoon seats and left them looking great.

  12. Gerald 5/5

    Great for Camper Exterior

Worked very well on my camper that had heavy black staining from nearby trees. Sprayed, let it sit for 15 minutes, rinsed, and it came clean.

  13. Nsdeal 4/5

    Effective on Trailer Fabric

Removed mildew spots from tent trailer fabrics. Just spray and let it work — excellent results on the heavier canvas areas.
