Product description
Quantity and construction: This set includes four black archival pigment ink pads. Each pad is housed in a lightweight plastic case with a felt ink surface, designed to provide several uses before replacement.
Ink characteristics: The formula is an archival pigment intended to resist fading, remain permanent and be waterproof once set. The manufacturer lists the ink as nontoxic and suitable for creating sharp, durable impressions that tolerate additional media laid over them.
Durability and handling: Pads measure approximately 3.66 x 2.52 inches, a compact footprint that’s easy to store or bring along. The ink dries quickly on many porous papers and can be used to achieve thermal impressions on nonporous substrates without harming paper.
Applications: These pads are suited to stamping on paper, wood, fabric and rubber stamps, and work well for posters, diaries, scrapbooks, cardmaking and notebook decoration. Their permanence and fade resistance make them appropriate for projects that need long-lasting marks.
Portability and use case: Small, easy-to-handle cases offer convenience for home crafting and travel projects. The compact design encourages DIY use with friends and family for a variety of creative activities.
Pros
- Deep, even black pigment for crisp impressions
- Waterproof, fade-resistant and nontoxic formula
- Compact 3.66 x 2.52 in pads, easy to transport
Cons
- Lids may not latch securely
- Some pads can arrive under-inked or dry
- Recessed pad surface limits inking large stamps
VerdictStrong black pigment and durable, waterproof ink make these pads useful for many craft projects, journaling, and travel stamping. They’re compact and quick-drying, but watch for lids that don’t clip shut and occasional pads that arrive dry. Best suited to small- to medium-sized stamps.

Half acceptable — some pads too dry
Two of the pads were nicely inked while two arrived nearly dry. Also, the recessed ink surface makes it tricky to cover stamps larger than the pad without using an intermediary. Useful for small stamps, but I wouldn’t rely on these for larger impressions.

Good beginner-friendly quality
Nice, dependable color that covers stamp surfaces well without bleeding. I’m new to stamping and so far these pads have performed satisfactorily for my projects.

Completely unusable out of the box
Several pads arrived effectively inkless and were impossible to use. The recessed design and loose-fitting box let in air, so I couldn’t justify keeping them. Returning wasn’t convenient, so I discarded them rather than spend time troubleshooting.

Tinker 5/5
Colors matched description, but lids won’t secure
The ink tones matched what I expected and stamped clearly on 65lb and 100lb cardstock with almost immediate drying and no smears. My only practical issue: the cases don’t snap closed. I wrapped each pad with a rubber band and placed them in a sealed bag before a road trip to avoid accidental openings.

Handy for Passport-to-Parks stamping
I bring these on national park visits to avoid relying on worn public pads. The four colors align with several regional passport inks and dry fast. They’re small enough to keep in a zip-top bag and carry while traveling, saving time and eliminating the worry of discovering a dry pad at a site.

Rich black pigment, great for layered crafting
Impressed by the dense black tone and crisp detail reproduction, even on small sentiment stamps. Once dry the ink held up to markers and watercolor without bleeding. Pads have stayed juicy rather than drying out quickly, so they’ve been reliable for cards, journaling and labels.

Works for fabric with proper heat setting
I used these inks on kitchen towels for craft fair items. Allow long air-dry time, then heat-set under parchment or butcher paper at about 400°F for roughly 40 seconds to make designs wash-fast. Note: drying can be slow and heat-setting is required for laundering durability.

Lovely tones for journaling, one pad dried
Colors are attractive — Ground Espresso and Black Soot looked great on my pages. One shade, however, came dried out. Cases are hinged but not airtight, so I keep them sealed in a ziploc. When they work, the ink doesn’t smear and makes page decorating more enjoyable.
