Product description
What’s in the box and construction: Each set contains a 33-foot main cable fitted with 80 icicle drops in four staggered lengths and a total of 400 orange LEDs. There’s a 9.84-foot power lead to reach outlets, and the kit uses low-voltage wiring with UL certification for safe operation. The main cord is clear so it blends into many backgrounds.
Expandable design and connectors: The strand is built with end-to-end connectors so you can join several sets to cover longer spans without extra adapters. The construction makes it straightforward to extend a display over wide eaves, long fences, or multiple rooms.
Lighting modes: The controller on the transformer cycles through eight selectable lighting patterns — including gentle twinkle, slow fade, chasing motion, wave-like fades, rapid flashes, steady-on, and a firefly-like flicker — all accessible via a single button on the transformer housing.
Weather resistance: The light string itself carries an IP44 splash-resistant rating, allowing it to stay lit through rain, wind and light hail when properly mounted. Important: the transformer housing is not waterproof and should be positioned in a dry, sheltered spot or inside a weatherproof outlet cover.
Timer and memory: A built-in timer lets the lights run for 6 hours and then turn off for 18 hours after activation, conserving energy without daily manual switching. The unit also remembers the last mode used so the effect returns on the same setting when power is reapplied.
Installation and uses: To install, gently free the icicle drops from tangles, hold the main cable taut and let the drops hang naturally before securing. These strings are intended for decorating eaves, porches, railings, windows, banisters, ceilings and party spaces to give a festive Halloween or seasonal look.
Pros
- Vivid orange LEDs with plentiful drops
- Eight lighting effects plus timer and memory
- End-to-end connectors for extension and IP44 rating
Cons
- Transformer must remain dry
- Very thin wiring can tangle during storage
- Actual hue may differ between sets
VerdictThese orange icicle lights deliver a striking holiday glow with plenty of LEDs, multiple effects, and expansion capability. They’re weather-resistant for outdoor displays and include a timer and memory for convenience. Keep the transformer protected from moisture and handle the thin wiring carefully when storing.

Intense color
I adore these — the orange is deep and very eye-catching.

Red is more orange
Bought these for a Christmas display but the 'red' option leans toward orange. The lights work fine, so I’m repurposing them for autumn décor.

Easy to install, stunning look
Quick to hang and they transformed the house — people kept stopping to admire them.

Feels high-end for the cost
These LEDs look far more upscale than I expected. Clear wiring, four drop lengths, lots of bulbs, a timer (6 on/18 off) and eight motion settings make them simple to use. Unpack, shake gently to loosen the drops, and they’re ready to hang. They brighten the holidays in a big way.

So far, reliable
They look great and there are plenty of bulbs. Wires are very thin and bulbs small but bright enough. Concerned about tangling during storage, but no issues yet.

Nice build, color off
Clear cord is barely noticeable in daylight and strand lengths are good, but the warm-white option skews quite yellow. Considering swapping to a whiter tone.

Handy and bright
Not easy to find locally, so I’m glad these arrived quickly. Colors are vivid and the strings are lightweight. One caveat: when you mount multiple runs high up, be sure to set the effect you want beforehand or you may need to climb back up to sync them.
