OUTLET ACCESS REMAINS – Both receptacles stay usable for plugs and everyday devices; the LEDs are integrated into the face of the cover so there’s no bulky obstruction in hallways, bathrooms, or children’s rooms.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION – An ambient light sensor detects darkness and powers the LEDs so they glow in dim or dark conditions and turn off in daylight. The illumination provides low-level ambient light for safe navigation at night without bright glare.
CHECK COMPATIBILITY – These covers require a duplex outlet with side-mounted screws. Before installing, remove your existing cover to confirm side screws are present. For any GFCI outlets with Test and Reset buttons, only the GFCI-design option will function properly and preserve those safety controls.

Good idea, but one unit failed

I bought four and three worked flawlessly. One unit would not light on any outlet I tried, despite checking alignment. Otherwise I’d have rated higher — they need tighter quality checks.

Simple swap-out; pay attention to fit

Packaging and instructions were straightforward. No need to kill power to replace the plate. One is tucked under a cabinet and I angled it to light the room better. Note: these plates are a touch smaller than some originals — when I removed the old plate a bit of paint came with it and a small gap is visible where the outlet opening was cut larger.

Really pleased — works exactly as advertised

I installed two covers in a very dark hallway and they were immediately responsive to low light. One sits in a slightly dim area and stays on a low glow during daytime clouds, then brightens after sunset. Installation was quick and they’ve cycled on and off since I put them up without any noticeable change to my electric usage.
