What you receive: a single roll of thickened water-heater insulation designed to act as a removable jacket. The roll is furnished ready to be cut and shaped to suit a variety of installations.
Materials and construction: the blanket combines a 5mm pearl-cotton foam core bonded to double-sided aluminum foil facing. The reflective foil provides thermal resistance while the pearl cotton supplies bulk and moisture resistance. The outer surface resists oil and abrasion for longer service life.
Dimensions: the insulation comes as one continuous strip measuring approximately 9.84 feet (total length) and 15.7 inches in width, with a 5mm thickness. The foil-faced layer helps hold heat in and is described as wear- and oil-resistant.
How it’s used: cut the roll with scissors or a utility knife to the shape you need, then position it around tanks, pipes or openings. It can be secured with nails, adhesive, tape or other fasteners to keep it in place; seams and overlaps should be planned for best thermal performance.
Where it fits: while marketed for water-heater jackets, the reflective roll is also suitable for insulating pipes, sealing windows for winter, lining garage doors, greenhouses, RV compartments, roof cavities and other spaces that benefit from added reflective barrier and modest foam insulation.

Check the measurements first
Photos show a fully wrapped tank, but the roll only provides material for a single layer around most tanks—measure before cutting.

Too short for my tank
The supplied length didn’t cover my water heater. I expected enough material for a complete wrap; you may need extra roll to finish the job.
