Product description

Every purchase supports the BISSELL Pet Foundation, an organization that helps find homes for homeless animals.

Designed to deliver full-size suction in a compact footprint, this upright weighs under 10 pounds and is built for small living spaces such as apartments and dorm rooms. The shell is molded plastic with a clear, bagless dirt cup so you can see collected debris.

The unit ships with an integrated quick-release extension wand to switch quickly from floors to upholstery, curtains, and ceilings. Onboard tools typically include a dusting brush, a crevice tool and a turbo or power roll for deeper pile cleaning.

Multi-surface performance is enabled by scatter-free technology on hard floors and strong suction for area rugs and carpeted rooms. The brushroll runs during upright cleaning and provides agitation for carpets; attachments are used for detailed work with the wand.

Maintenance is simplified with a one-button dirt-cup release for touch-free emptying. Typical dimensions are smaller than a standard upright, and the lighter construction favors portability over heavy-duty durability.

Pros

  • Lightweight and easy to maneuver
  • Strong suction across hard floors and carpets
  • Bagless cup with one-button empty

Cons

  • Small dust cup needs frequent emptying
  • Brushroll can’t be disabled for some wand uses
  • Short hose and attachment reach

VerdictThis compact upright packs the suction of a larger cleaner into a portable, apartment-friendly frame. It handles bare floors and carpets well, includes a quick-release wand for above-floor tasks, and uses a bagless, easy-empty cup. Expect frequent emptying and a tight hose when using attachments, but if you want strong pickup in a nimble package, it’s a solid choice—especially for pet owners who a

    Suction does the heavy lifting

Suction is the most important feature for me and this unit delivers. One pass usually does the job so I don’t have to go over areas repeatedly. It picks up pet hair, human hair, and litter bits easily. Easy to operate and empty—I recommend it for reliable pickup.

  2. Denise Watkins 3/5

    Feels cheaply built

The materials seem flimsy even though suction is decent. It doesn’t feel like it will stand up to heavy, long-term use and I’m disappointed by the light construction.

  3. Justin 5/5

Light and effective for pet hair

We have multiple dogs and needed something we could move quickly. This vacuum is light and scoops up hair from carpet, hardwood, and tile very well. The dirt cup is small so I empty it more often than I’d like, but the process is simple and quick.

    Great anti-scatter for hard floors

Bought mainly for bare floors and it delivers: good suction and the anti-scatter feature really prevents pushing messes around. Much easier to store and pull out than my large canister. My gripe is the brushroll stays on when using the wand, which is frustrating, but I’m keeping it despite that.

  5. KSugar 5/5

Surprised by how much it pulled up

Moved into a new apartment and used a heavy vacuum first, thinking the carpets were spotless. This compact machine pulled up a shocking amount of fine dust, skin flakes, and hidden grime from areas that looked clean. It was unsettling but reassuring to see it gone, and now I feel better about walking barefoot and sleeping on those carpets.

Punches above its weight on floors

We already owned an expensive upright that’s bulky and awkward; I bought this to try something lighter. It cleaned our hardwood better than the big machine and performed well on rugs and carpets too. It handled spilled dry cat food without scattering it around. My only worry is whether the strong suction will hold up long term, but so far it’s been impressive.

  7. JesBee 3/5

Good value but a few trade-offs

It’s noticeably smaller than a standard upright and the cup seems to fill faster than expected. The hose is short, which makes using attachments awkward when the cleaner is a little away from the work area. It’s also louder than my other vacuums. It includes the usual attachments, but some of the accessory pegs felt loose.

  8. Mustafa Ismail ALKAN 1/5

    Voltage warning for international buyers

Be careful about voltage—this model expects 110V. Using it on an incompatible supply can damage the motor. It’s suitable for regions with 110V but risky elsewhere without a proper converter.

    Motor failed on first use

I was excited to try it but the motor burned out during the very first session on a hard floor. Very disappointing after only initial use.
