Each pair ships with polarized TAC lenses mounted in Grilamid frames, a molded custom hard case for secure storage, and a Prym1 camo microfiber pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth and soft carry sleeve.
Lens construction and coating
The lenses are impact-resistant TAC (triacetate cellulose) and are polarized to reduce reflected glare. KastKing applies its PuriVex protective coating — a marine-grade finish that repels water, oil, and dirt and helps resist surface scratches for easier cleaning and longer optical clarity in outdoor environments.
Frame material and fit
Frames are made from Grilamid, a lightweight, flexible polymer used in demanding applications for its strength, heat and UV resistance, and shape memory. The material produces frames that feel very light on the face, remain comfortable during extended wear, and bend without breaking. The FlatRock design is a standard adult fit intended to suit most men and women for all-day use.
Tint options and recommended conditions
Smoke lenses offer the most natural color rendering and perform best in bright sun and partial shade. Brown lenses boost contrast and depth perception for variable or partly cloudy conditions. Copper tints are suited to low-to-moderate light, while green lenses handle sunny to overcast skies well. All lens options block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB radiation and meet or exceed U.S. ANSI standards for eye protection.
Care and usage notes
The PuriVex finish helps repel contaminants, but daily care still matters: rinse lenses with fresh warm water and dry with the included microfiber or another lint-free cloth. Avoid immersing the lenses in saltwater and never dry them with paper towels or other abrasive materials to preserve the coating. These sunglasses are engineered for fishing, boating, driving, and active sports where glare reduction and impact resistance are priorities.

Lens Coating Failed After Beach Week
Bought these in late June for an early August beach week. Very comfy and attractive, but both lenses developed black spots after a week by the ocean. I rinsed them in fresh water daily as recommended, but the coating still peeled. Fine for daily use, but not durable for extended saltwater exposure.

Good Protection; Temple Arms Too Long for Me
Provide solid protection and are comfortable once adjusted. The earpieces extend past my ears, which bothered me, but they work fine as a backup and I added a strap and wire for security.

Ideal for Fishing and Cruising

Repurchased — Lightweight and Effective
Second set for me after wearing them while lifeguarding. Extremely light and the polarization is impressive for the cost. Frames held up well, but the lens coating didn’t last, which is why I replaced them.
