Product description
Materials and contents: The product ships as a single pair of foldable hearing protection earmuffs constructed primarily from molded plastic with soft foam ear cushions and a padded, adjustable headband.
Noise reduction and certification: These passive ear defenders are certified to ANSI S3.19 and CE EN 352-1 and carry a manufacturer-rated 34 dB NRR (noting OSHA adjustment guidance reduces the effective protection to about 31 dB). They are engineered to reduce harmful high-frequency sounds—like gunfire, power tools, or small-engine noise—while remaining compact and lightweight.
Fit, sizes and break-in: The headband is padded and slides to accommodate a wide range of head sizes; the model is offered in Standard and Large. The cups are intentionally snug to seal effectively; users are advised to 'break in' the clamping force by compressing the cups over a box or similar object for a few hours to soften the tension for a more customized fit.
Usage and limitations: As passive earmuffs, they attenuate noise rather than actively cancelling it, so very low-frequency sounds (for example loud bass or distant engines) may be less reduced than sharp, high-frequency impulses. For extreme noise exposure, use them in combination with foam earplugs beneath the cups to increase overall attenuation.
Portability and design: The cups fold inward for compact storage and transport, making them convenient for travel, range bags or bedside storage. The slim profile was designed to sit closer to the head than many high-NRR models so they are less obtrusive when shouldering a rifle or fitting under hats.
Warranty and company note: Produced by a US small business (product may be made in the USA or imported), the manufacturer backs the earmuffs with a customer-focused replacement or refund promise for issues. The design has been offered for over a decade and is positioned as a compact, higher-NRR option favored by many families and professionals.
Pros
- High NRR for a slim, foldable design
- Lightweight and travel-friendly
- Certified to ANSI S3.19 and CE EN 352-1
Cons
- Initial clamp can be tight before break-in
- Less reduction of deep low-frequency noise
- May not satisfy users needing industrial-grade isolation
VerdictThese compact passive earmuffs offer unusually high NRR in a slim profile, performing well for many loud environments while staying portable. Expect a firm initial clamp that relaxes after break-in, reliable attenuation of high-frequency noise, and comfortable short- to medium-duration wear for most users. They’re a strong option for recreational shooting, yard work, travel or sensory calming, but

Worked for travel sleep — decent noise reduction
Used them while traveling in Peru to sleep past noisy neighbors. Not perfect silence but enough to rest. I stretched them once over a box and the fit was comfortable for my adult head.

AR 5/5
Lightweight but not for extreme noise needs
I returned these because they didn’t feel as isolating as I needed for heavy-duty work. The cups became uncomfortable over long sessions. Still, for general use they’re lightweight and satisfactory for less intense noise environments.

Colorado 5/5
Stretches in, great for range — love the color
I followed the stretch directions and they fit perfectly. Wore them for hours at the indoor range with no issues. The pink is easy to spot and I’m very pleased with the decibel reduction and comfort.

Past-ure Prime Retirement 5/5
Excellent for mowing and tractor work
Perfect for farm chores — low profile fits under my straw hat and the sliding band adapts to different head sizes. Kept my ears protected during long hours with loud equipment. Really pleased with how they perform on the farm.

Functional but watch for rough edges
They worked decently for the cost but I wouldn’t rely on them long-term. They stayed put once on, but be careful when removing—if you pull them forward they can scratch the face. I won’t be repurchasing.

Good protection after brief break-in
First set I’ve owned. They were tight at first but loosening them on the box fixed it. Wore them with glasses and managed comfort after some adjustment. Loud noises were filtered while speech remained intelligible. I’d recommend them.

Drake D. 5/5
Solid 34 dB performance and fit
Took these to the range and they really quieted things down. A little snug over my L/XL hat at first, but easy to adjust up or down. I had to shift a cup to hear normal-volume conversation. Good value for a compact 34 dB option; I plan to buy a small case to protect them in my bag.

Nyara Lopes 5/5
Comfortable and effective
They protect well from noise and are comfortable to wear for normal durations.

Becca 5/5
Very satisfied — comfortable and effective
These work really well and feel comfortable. They surpassed my earplugs for noise reduction and arrived quickly. I’d recommend them.

Content Consumer 4/5
Great for blocking snoring and media playback
Bought these primarily to drown out my partner’s loud snoring and they work wonderfully. Comfortable to wear while sleeping; I used earbuds underneath and heard only the movie audio. Teal color is attractive and they fold up small on my bedside table.

Romain ALMES 4/5
Slim profile, good for shouldering — use with plugs indoors
Thin profile makes aiming easy and there’s no uncomfortable temple pressure. Folds compactly. I pair them with internal plugs for indoor range work and wouldn’t use them alone in very loud settings.

Claims felt overstated compared to cheaper sets
Bought these for shooting for their 34 dB rating but found no noticeable difference versus a cheaper 22 dB pair. The box even notes the rating may not reflect gunfire protection. Not what I expected for hearing defense at the range.

SYED LATEEF 3/5
Adequate but tight for larger ears
They worked fine for me but felt small for my ears.
