POWER GUIDANCE

Product description

What you get: one cast-steel macebell in the weight you select (options commonly offered include 7 lb, 10 lb, 15 lb and 20 lb). It ships as a single solid unit ready for immediate use.

Materials and finish: constructed entirely from steel for durability and longevity. The shaft features mid-length knurling to improve hand purchase and reduce slipping during dynamic movements. The exterior is treated with a durable coating to resist chips and corrosion while providing a controlled surface feel.

Handle and ergonomics: the straight, elongated handle is designed for two-handed or staggered grips; the knurled section is positioned to allow secure holds at different hand placements. The end cap is finished to prevent debris and rattling inside the bell, and welds at the transition are smoothed for comfort.

How it’s used: designed for rotational swings, shoulder-to-hip patterns, presses and leverage work to develop core stability, shoulder health, grip strength and overall conditioning. Sliding the hands closer to the bell increases the effective resistance; practicing controlled technique and lighter weights first is recommended.

Sizing and progression: with multiple weight choices, users can start with lower mass to learn form and step up as strength and movement control improve. The mace’s long lever amplifies how a modest mass translates into significant resistance at the handle, making gradual progression and attention to technique important.

Pros

  • Durable all-steel construction
  • Secure knurled handle for confident grip
  • Multiple weight options for progression

Cons

  • Outer cap or trim can be cosmetically basic
  • Packaging may be insufficient for heavier units
  • Long lever amplifies weight, so technique is essential

VerdictA rugged, single-piece steel macebell that delivers dependable performance for swinging, pressing, and rotational work. The knurled shaft gives a confident hold, and the all-metal build resists wear. Choose a lighter weight to learn technique and progress to heavier options for greater leverage and challenge. Minor issues with cosmetic trim or packaging don't detract from its usefulness as a compa

Customer reviews

  1. Lone shark... 5/5

    Simple and rugged

A no-frills, solid piece of equipment — straightforward and dependable.

  2. Carl Syngingenson 5/5

    Sturdy feel and excellent knurling

Great for quick sessions when time is limited. Helps loosen tired shoulders and adds a useful change-up to routines. The shaft knurling nearly spans the handle and gives a reliable grip. My previous purchases from this maker have been solid.

  3. Anthony K. 5/5

    Does what it promises

A reliable training tool that performs as advertised. Recommended for functional work.

  4. Doug 5/5

    Good starter mace

Tried a 10 lb as my first mace and it was humbling in a good way. The grip stays secure and the weight is manageable for learning technique.

  5. HardToPlease 5/5

    Daily-use quality

Heavy-duty feel and consistent performance. I’ve been using mine every day.

  6. Amar Bherwani 5/5

    Functional strength builder

Delivers on building muscle and practical strength through swinging and levered movements.

  7. Patrick 4/5

    Solid product, weak packaging

The macebell itself is excellent, but the box and packing weren’t protective enough for a 15 lb implement.

  8. Reader 5/5

Excellent finish and clear leverage effects

Product shows careful alignment, clean welds, defined knurling and a durable coating. Remember a 10 lb mace behaves like a much larger load at the end of the lever — the leverage amplifies force, so begin light and focus on form.

  9. B_Roost450f 5/5

Well-made 15 lb option with confident grip

Sought a 15 lb mace with a thicker grip and longer handle and this met those specs. Powdercoat feels durable and non-slip, knurling is grippy without shredding the hands, welds are smooth, and the handle cap is snug with no internal rattling. The bell cap is acceptable if not fancy.
