Product description
Included: one Women's Thermoball Hooded Parka (standard and plus-size options available). Imported and ready for variable weather.
Materials and insulation: The shell is constructed from 100% recycled polyester treated with a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish for added moisture resistance. Insulation is Thermoball Eco — a high-loft fill made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester engineered to retain warmth and compress neatly for packing, while maintaining performance in damp conditions.
Design and fit: Cut in a regular fit with specially sized plus options (1X–3X), the parka features a cinchable hood, drop-tail hem for extra coverage, and concealed elastic cuffs to help seal out drafts. Functional details include a two-way front zipper with internal draft flap and chin guard, secure-zip hand pockets, a stowable design, and an adjustable internal waist cinch cord to refine the silhouette and fit.
Performance and end-of-life: Built with WindWall wind-resistant fabric for improved protection against gusts and a non-PFC DWR for light moisture shedding. The coat was conceived with circularity in mind — it can be disassembled and returned for recycling into raw materials for a future generation of products (solid colorways only; printed designs excluded). Use it for daily winter commutes, layering on the trail, or travel where packable warmth and weather resistance are priorities.
Pros
- Lightweight insulation with reliable warmth
- Made from recycled fabrics and Thermoball Eco fill
- Wind-resistant shell and water-repellent finish
Cons
- Slightly shiny outer finish that some may not prefer
- Can feel snug across a larger chest when zipped
- Not as warm for very severe cold per some reports
VerdictThis Thermoball hooded parka balances low bulk with credible warmth thanks to high-loft recycled insulation and a wind-shedding shell. It suits everyday winter wear and travel where packability and water resistance matter. Expect roomy layering in most sizes, a stowable design and useful weatherproofing, though the outer sheen and closer chest fit for fuller busts may not match every preference.

Lightweight and warming
Very lightweight but does a solid job keeping me warm.

Good down-free option
Great for those avoiding down — made from recycled materials and the logo is stitched. I’m 150 lb and ordered a medium; a small may have worked too.

Top was a bit snug
Returned because it was snug across the upper chest. Otherwise a very nice jacket.

Warm and light but snug in the chest
Feels light for how warm it is and I like the double zipper. Shell is shiny and the interior has a plasticky feel. Fits tight across my larger chest when zipped all the way.

Pricy but high quality
Bought this for a family member; the construction felt superior. Color is classy, very warm while remaining lightweight. Expensive but worth it.

Too light for harsh cold
Too thin for really cold weather.

Room for layers, keeps legs warmer
I ordered one size up to fit heavier layers and avoid bulk. It’s lightweight yet warm and the longer cut shields my upper legs from wind.

Cruelty-free warmth that works for sensitivities
I adore this Thermoball parka — vegan-friendly and genuinely warm. Fabrics are clean-feeling, which matters for my chemical sensitivities. True to size with room for sweaters and layers; the length is great. Very happy with the quality.
