Product description
What you get: 18 individual pieces of dust-reduced chalk in a variety of bright colors, packaged with transparent pen-style holders that let you adjust how much chalk is exposed.
Surface compatibility & limits: These sticks are made for smooth, non-porous substrates — think classroom blackboards, home chalkboards, glass, and sealed flooring. They are not suitable for coarse or porous outdoor materials such as terraces, sidewalks, bricks, or raw concrete; using them on rough surfaces can cause breakage.
Safety and composition: The chalk uses a dust-minimizing, non-toxic formulation intended to limit airborne particles and reduce skin irritation, so kids can draw with less worry about inhaling chalk dust or getting residues on their hands.
Cleaning: The pigments are water-soluble and wipe away easily with water or a damp cloth. Marks on boards, walls, floors, or clothing can typically be removed without harsh scrubbing, which makes post-play cleanup straightforward.
Design and dimensions: Each chalk stick measures about 3.85 inches long by 0.67 inches in diameter, sized for small hands. The included clear, rotatable plastic sleeve allows you to retract or extend the chalk and replaces sticks via the bottom-loading opening.
Uses & gifting: Suitable for classroom activities, family art time, parties, and outdoor chalk sessions on suitable surfaces. The set serves as a practical creative tool and a colorful gift option for birthdays, holidays, or other celebrations.

VerdictThis colorful chalk kit delivers a child-friendly drawing experience: vivid, washable colors plus holders that make gripping easier and keep fingers cleaner. Downsides include fragile chalk cores and occasional flimsy holder parts — avoid rough concrete or brick. Overall a fun, convenien

Great grip for small hands, chalk wears fast
Holders make drawing much easier for toddlers and keep hands cleaner, and the palette is fun. The main gripe is the chalk is used up quickly and can crumble, but the concept and colors are very enjoyable.

Several arrived damaged
Four of the 18 were cracked right out of the box. Trying to put them back in the holder caused the bottom twist piece to pop loose — a hassle to reassemble.

Durability letdown
Opened the pack and found three pieces already broken. Disappointed by the fragility and wouldn't reorder given that issue.

Smooth, kid-friendly colors
Nice variety of colors, comfortable to hold and simple to erase. Works well for a 2-year-old — we love this set.

Too fragile for rough play
Four of the set broke the first time we used them, including the plastic holder on some. Not ideal for kids who are rough on toys.

Erika Jackson 5/5
Clean hands, occasional breakage
Easy to clean up and keeps fingers mostly free of dust. The colors are bright and washable, but the sticks can snap if handled roughly. My daughter enjoys them, so overall it's a win.

Good idea, mixed performance
They do produce little dust, but marks can be stubborn to remove and the chalk breaks easily while drawing.

Broke within minutes
Was excited at first but many sticks were broken on arrival, so pieces fell out when trying to draw. Smooth finish, but fragile construction.
