This product ships as two pre-assembled rolls of green poultry netting, each measuring 47.3 inches in installed height and 98.5 feet in length. The mesh incorporates 14 horizontal strands, 12 of which carry the charge, and vertical string supports every 3 inches. The lower section features a tight 2" x 3" weave to stop small birds and prevent escapes.
Built-in fiberglass posts are spaced roughly every 8 feet along the netting. The set includes a mix of posts with galvanized stakes: several posts use double galvanized stakes and others have single galvanized stakes to anchor the net. The bottom two horizontal strands are intentionally non-conductive to reduce the chance of short-circuiting from vegetation growth.
The package is intended to protect active birds from ground predators; the near-48" height makes it more effective versus larger threats such as coyotes and dogs. Beyond poultry, the fence can also be used to control or guide other animals like sheep, goats, cattle and guardian dogs during grazing rotations.
Setup is designed to be fast — most users can go from unpacking to a functional fence in under ten minutes. For corner stability the kit provides extra ground stakes and guyline rope, and the lightweight rolls make relocation and storage simple for rotational grazing or temporary enclosures.
Important: this netting does not include a fence energizer. An external energizer and proper grounding are required to electrify the strands and achieve full protection; continuous-current energizers should not be used. Also provide animals with a brief training shock so they learn to respect the perimeter. Follow local safety guidance when installing and powering electric fencing.

Saved my flock during predator season
I was doubtful at first, but installation was straightforward and the netting kept my birds safe when neighboring flocks were attacked. Neighbors even copied the setup after seeing it work.

Didn’t stop a determined dog
The fence worked until a dog pushed through one evening. It’s okay for many threats but not foolproof against persistent animals.

Handy portable electric chicken barrier
Clear directions and easy handling. Remember you need an external portable power source to electrify the net.

Works well but missing electrifying guidance
Assembly was simple and it performs as expected, so I rate it highly. I knocked off a star because there are no instructions on hooking up an energizer — you must buy one and connect clips to the fence and ground rod.

Simple install but sags in places
I’d give four stars if it included extra fiberglass rods to support sagging spots. Other kits have those and I can’t find replacements easily.

Great for expanding poultry range
Ideal for enlarging foraging areas without worrying about ground predators. Setup is quick and it’s easy to move to alternate sections; attached well to my existing wiring.
