Product description
Pack contents: Four 500 ml (approximately 17 oz) wash bottles labeled specifically for acetone use.
Construction: The bottles are molded from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), providing flexibility, elasticity and resistance to impact, stress-cracking and moisture. The closures and dispensing stems are made of polypropylene (PP) for a secure fit and chemical compatibility.
Design and use: The bottles feature a narrow mouth suited to typical laboratory and classroom applications and are intended for short-term dispensing of acetone and similar solvents. The tip can be trimmed back to increase flow when needed, making them versatile for a range of tasks.
Safety and leak control: Each bottle is pre-printed with the chemical name and formula along with a four-color NFPA 704 diamond, health hazard indicators and the CAS number. The closure and stem are molded as a single piece for leak-resistant performance, and the draw tube fits tightly into the cap to prevent separation when the bottle is squeezed.
Pros
- Flexible, impact-resistant LDPE construction
- Pre-printed NFPA, CAS and chemical ID labels
- One-piece closure and stem minimize leaks
Cons
- Intended for short-term dispensing, not long-term storage
- Flow limited until tip is trimmed
- Narrow-mouth not ideal for ultra-precise micro-dispensing
VerdictA practical, economical set of 500 ml acetone wash bottles built for everyday lab and shop use. The LDPE bodies remain pliable and resist stress-cracking while the one-piece PP closure and stem reduce leaks and separation during squeezing. Clear safety legends and a cuttable tip make these suitable for short-term dispensing tasks where durability and visible hazard labeling matter.

Holds up well in a metal shop
Still going after more than a year in a metal workshop. The printed labels stayed readable despite exposure to oils, solvents and acetone.
