Quality Plugs by Rips

Product description

Refillable dispenser compatible — this bulk set supplies 500 pairs (1,000 individual plugs) and is designed to refill a countertop or wall-mounted dispenser for convenient access and economical replacement in busy environments.
High-attenuation foam — rated NRR 32 dB (SNR 35 dB), these plugs reduce a significant portion of ambient sound, suitable for sleeping, shooting ranges, construction, concerts, yard work, air travel, and other loud situations.
Slow-rebound, cone-shaped design — the tapered profile compresses easily for insertion and slowly expands to conform to the ear canal, creating a reliable seal without harsh pressure against the skin.
Soft, non-toxic material — manufactured from smooth, hypoallergenic foam that’s gentle on the ear canal for short- to medium-duration wear; designed to minimize irritation during repeated use.
Easy to roll and insert — the foam compresses quickly so users can form a narrow insertion profile, then let the plug expand. Each plug is disposable after use for hygiene.
Safety certifications — produced to meet recognized safety benchmarks with CE and ANSI approvals, giving assurance that the product adheres to established hearing protection standards.

Customer reviews

  1. Alan Fernando 5/5

Solid build, plenty in a pack

Well made and plentiful — the foam feels durable and they work as expected.

  2. Stephanie 5/5

Great for events and sensitive listeners

We hand these out at large gatherings when people need to reduce loud sound. They dampen noise just enough to protect hearing and are simple to roll and insert. Comfortable and effective — strongly suggested.

  3. JoJoSammy 4/5

Molds to the ear, will repurchase

Shapes easily to the ear canal and holds its form. Slightly less pliable than some foams, but overall a good fit and I’ll buy them again.

  4. Brindy 4/5

    They do the job

Effective for short to moderate stretches. There are plush options for all-day wear, but for a few hours these are reliable and comfortable enough.

  5. Michael Cook 5/5

Less trash than individually wrapped plugs

I like having loose plugs in a container so I don’t end up with a pile of tiny wrappers. They fit well and are easy to access.

  6. Ryan K. 5/5

Same function as small retail tubs, but in bulk

They perform like the familiar foam plugs you get in small tubs: compress, insert, and let expand to block the canal. My partner and I both sleep through each other now thanks to these. They match the comfort and isolation of smaller retail options, but this bulk supply lasts much longer. You should still hear an alarm or fire signal under normal conditions. Inserting too far would take deliberate effort; roll the narrow end and place gently until it expands to fit.

  7. John H. 5/5

    Comfortable for mowing and chores

They’re foam plugs that reduce engine noise while I mow. Comfortable on my ears even with a loud zero-turn mower behind me.

  8. MrFusion 3/5

    Acceptable but not premium

They work, but I noticed they aren’t as soft or as comfortable as some higher-end foam models. If you want a little more comfort and attenuation, consider other options.

  9. HngDvnDave 5/5

Excellent for light sleepers and range use

I’m very noise-sensitive and these block most ambient sounds except the very loudest. Comfortable nightly and a solid first layer at the shooting range when used with muffs.
