LAURA GELLER NEW YORK

Product description

A compact containing a single artisan-baked powder pan in the Light shade, this product is designed to act as foundation and color corrector in one.

The formula features multi-toned, marbleized pigments that self-adjust as you blend to neutralize redness, conceal dark spots, and even out complexion, creating coverage that reads like enhanced skin rather than heavy makeup.

Every pan begins as a cream and is slowly baked for 24 hours on terracotta tiles in Italy, producing a silky, velvet-soft powder that applies with a cream-like finish — minimal dust, no chalky residue, and a radiant effect.

Active supportive ingredients include Centella Asiatica to help support collagen and elasticity, Vitamin E and Green Tea Extract for antioxidant protection, and Jojoba Oil to help with all-day hydration and comfort.

Clinically tested and dermatologist-approved for sensitive complexions, the formula has been shown safe for rosacea- and psoriasis-prone skin. Coverage is buildable from a sheer daytime veil to fuller evening coverage, and it holds up in heat and humidity without settling into fine lines.

Application options include brushes, a dense kabuki or a press sponge for more controlled placement; for extra coverage many users layer with fingers. The product is offered in a range of shades, and this listing is for the Light shade.

Customer reviews

  1. Mikayla 5/5

    Natural-looking coverage that lasts

I've used this for about a year. It never separates or gets cakey and gives a refined, skin-like finish—blurring, brightening, smoothing, and covering. For more coverage I tap on extra product with my fingers. I don't have mature skin but do have texture and acne, and it doesn't make those worse. Highly recommend.

  2. Melanie I 5/5

    Convinced after trying it

I was skeptical at first, but the coverage builds beautifully and still looks like my skin—almost airbrushed. It wears all day without dryness or flakiness. I'll be repurchasing for sure.

  3. RW 5/5

Makes mature skin look more even

I'm a senior and this powder has genuinely improved the look and feel of my skin. I bought two compacts in different shades to mix a warmer look on my cheeks. The marbleized tones blend seamlessly, the powder is finely milled, and my complexion appears smoother and more uniform. I also bought the angled kabuki brush and it makes application quick and precise.

  4. Aura 5/5

    Lightweight, long-wearing powder

This powder replaced my liquid foundation—no more creasing into under-eye lines. It’s light, stays put with minimal touch-ups, and cut my get-ready time. I tried a kabuki brush first but it was messy; a press sponge gave cleaner application and better control.

  5. Elizabeth L. Brasfield 4/5

Exactly the low-effort coverage I wanted

In my 50s and I wanted a light but buildable powder that sets quickly and feels weightless. This delivers—no cakiness, long wear, and a soft, velvety finish. Application is easy and my routine has become much quicker. It gives good coverage without feeling like I’m wearing makeup.

  6. Ver 5/5

Soft-focus finish and forgiving shade options

This product glides on and instantly softens imperfections. It smooths fine lines, builds well, and wears all day. The shade matching is forgiving—I tried Medium and Sand and both worked nicely on my medium-tan, golden skin. A reliable choice for quick, youthful-looking coverage.

  7. Whitney R 3/5

Love the formula, hate the case

The powder applies smoothly, builds well, and lasts all day. Coverage is adjustable for both daytime and evening looks. My only gripe is the case: every compact I've bought has had a hinge break. For what it costs, the packaging should hold up without needing a workaround to keep it closed.

  8. Maggie 2/5

    Arrived completely destroyed

I couldn't test it because the compact arrived smashed. I had high hopes for this product and I'm hesitant to order again for fear it will come damaged the same way.

  9. Dresk 5/5

    Great match for fair skin

My wife has fair skin and this shade suits her perfectly, covering what she wants. She notes it can feel a little dry on application but it lasts all day and doesn't sink into fine lines.

  10. Clarina 2/5

Too light and accentuates lines for me

I expected better based on reviews. The shade was too pale for my skin and the finish looked powdery and dry, making my lines more noticeable. Disappointing because I hoped it would solve my foundation issues.

  11. Beris Carbone 5/5

Solid powder that replaces liquid well

This covers as well as liquid foundation for me. Medium is perfect for everyday; I also keep lighter and darker shades for seasonal shifts and to use as a bronzer. It gives a flawless finish and is worth the expense.
