Product description

Construction and materials: The uncapping knife pairs a serrated stainless steel blade with a solid wooden handle. The blade is a single-piece scraper designed to resist loosening or breakage, and the wood grip is shaped to be slip-resistant while insulating your hand from heat.
Power and connector: This is a mains-heated electric honey cutter with a firmly secured power connector so the connection stays stable during use. Plug the unit in, allow the blade to warm, and the heated edge will slice through wax cappings with minimal pressure.
How it’s used: Intended primarily for removing wax cappings from standard honey frames, the hot blade glides along the comb edge to release honey for extraction. The unit’s blade size and shape are matched to typical hive frame widths to make uncapping efficient across the full frame.
Durability and safety: One-piece blade-and-scraper construction reduces the chance of joint failure, and the handle includes insulation to reduce scald risk. Because it conducts heat well, the cutter reaches working temperature quickly so you can uncap without long waits.
Additional uses and care: Beyond uncapping, the heated knife can be used for slicing soft baked goods like cakes or bread. After use, wipe the blade with warm water or alcohol to remove residue and keep the tool looking clean and functioning properly.
