Product description
Included in the pack: twenty medium foundation sheets in black, each intended for standard medium Langstroth frames. The set is aimed at beekeepers who need multiple sheets for hive expansion, routine maintenance, or supplying nucleus colonies.
Material and finish: the foundations are molded from food-grade plastic to meet safety expectations for contact with honey and brood. A thin beeswax coating covers the surface to make the sheets more familiar to the bees and to encourage initial acceptance and drawing.
Design and fit: the face of each sheet features a honeycomb cell pattern that provides a clear template for workers to build comb. Sheets are cut and sized to slide into the grooves of medium frames and should snap into place on commonly used medium-frame equipment.
How to use: install by pressing the sheet into the frame's foundation slot or groove, ensuring it seats firmly. While the light wax coating helps adoption, some beekeepers prefer to apply an additional wax layer before placing sheets in a hive. The 20-count format gives spares for replacements or to outfit multiple supers.

Good for Giving a New Colony a Head Start
I normally let bees build free comb, but after catching a late swarm I used these to jump-start stores. They snap into my medium Langstroth frames easily, the thin wax helped prompt acceptance, and the material feels robust. The 20-pack also gave me useful spares for nucs.

Add Extra Wax
