Product description

Emergency-ready meals created by culinary professionals and food scientists to supply calories, flavor, and nutrients when conventional cooking isn’t an option. The kit is packaged as a three-day ration and contains a total of 26 servings sized for short-term sustenance.

Preparation is effortless: pour boiling water into the rehydration pouch, stir, and let the contents reconstitute — no stove or advanced cooking skills required. The short ingredient lists and simple directions make these meals suitable for stressful situations or quick outdoor breaks.

Designed for long-term storage, the components are sealed in durable pouches rated to keep contents stable for up to 25 years, making the kit suitable for inclusion in backpacks, emergency caches, or pantry reserves. The compact packaging keeps the kit space-efficient and travel-friendly.

Flavors in this assortment include oatmeal with brown sugar for breakfast, creamy chicken-flavored rice for a savory meal, and cheesy broccoli rice as a comfort-style option. Portions are intended to cover three days of basic nourishment and are packaged into individual mylar-style pouches for protection.

Whether you’re sheltering at home, packing a hiking kit, or preparing a vehicle emergency supply, this meal pack is designed to adapt to a variety of scenarios and storage locations, providing a ready source of calories and simple meals when you need them.

Pros

  • Long 25-year shelf life
  • Easy boil-and-serve preparation
  • Compact, travel-friendly packaging

Cons

  • Individual meal pouches are single-use
  • Some may find calorie totals modest
  • Freeze-dried texture isn’t for everyone

VerdictThis 3-day kit delivers a convenient, shelf-stable food solution that’s easy to prepare and flavorful enough to lift spirits in a crisis. Meals come in durable sealed pouches with a 25-year shelf life and require only boiling water to rehydrate. It’s a solid option for emergency kits or outdoor trips, though the single-use meal pouches and calorie totals may not suit every user’s needs.

    Holding it back for emergencies

I’m saving this for a crisis, but it fits what I wanted for an emergency stash.

  2. John Langley 5/5

    Tasty and compact

Good flavors and a compact size — perfect for camping or a bug-out bag.

  3. Anthony lappin 1/5

    Arrived opened

    The package arrived opened.

  4. Davies Ononiwu 5/5

    Lost weight, more energy

Tried this and liked it. The drinks were pleasant, especially the chocolate — it kept me satisfied between meals.

  5. David D. 4/5

    Would repurchase with caution

I liked the resealable outer bag, but the individual meal pouches aren’t resealable, which is inconvenient on the move. Some brands offer two-serving resealable pouches that cook in the pouch — I’d prefer that. Overall quality seems solid: each meal is sealed in mylar-style pouches and, unsurprisingly, has that typical freeze-dried flavor. Calorie breakdown listed: Cheesy Broccoli Rice 2000 kcal, Creamy Chicken Rice 1920 kcal, Oatmeal 1200 kcal — about 5120 calories total for three days. That’s reasonable compared with other options, and while you might find alternatives if you shop, you’d lose the long shelf life these provide. MREs average around 1300 calories per day, so these work better for short-term needs.

  6. holley smith 2/5

    Disappointed in prep and value

Meals require more water than I expected and take about as long to rehydrate as regular cooking. I could have made similar pouches myself for less. I’ll keep it stored but likely won’t buy another.
