Product description
This steering wheel lock is a telescoping, keyless anti-theft bar designed to mount over your steering wheel and block full rotation. The package contains one lock assembly, one small screwdriver for minor adjustments, and one reset tool for changing the numeric code.
The main components are forged from high-performance zinc alloy and steel for increased tensile strength and resistance to cutting. A plastic protective covering wraps the metal surfaces that contact the steering wheel to help prevent scuffs and to offer some weather protection.
Security is provided by a five-dial combination mechanism, each dial numbered 0–9, creating up to 100,000 unique codes that you can program and change. To fit a broad variety of vehicles the inner diameter is adjustable and accommodates steering wheels roughly between 6.1 and 14.9 inches across. To use, extend the bar so its ends rest against opposite spokes, scramble the digits to lock, and align them to your code to release. When not in use the retractable design makes the unit easier to store under a seat or in a trunk.
The design emphasizes visibility and mass: its weight and profile are meant to discourage opportunistic thefts and make stealing the vehicle more difficult without specialized tools.
Pros
- Keyless five-digit combination (no key to carry)
- Durable zinc alloy and steel construction
- Adjustable to fit a wide range of steering wheels
Cons
- Relatively heavy and may be awkward to handle
- Some users report occasional dial sticking
- Retention screw can be fiddly to align
VerdictA visible, hefty deterrent that replaces a traditional keyed lock with a five-wheel combination for keyless convenience. The metal construction and protective coating aim to resist cutting and scratching while fitting most cars, vans, trucks and SUVs. Installation is quick — extend the bar across opposite spokes and set the dials — and the adjustable length covers a wide range of steering wheel si

Heavy-duty protection
Robust build that gives confidence that it will slow down or deter thieves.

S. Osburn 5/5
Massive, well-made and easy to operate
After a neighbor’s car was taken I wanted something substantial. Right away the weight and machining feel professional. The combination setup avoids having to carry a key, the numerals are large and easy to read even in low light, and the tumblers rotate smoothly. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Recommended for added vehicle security
A worthwhile purchase that’s held up over months of use. Strong, heavy construction that resists sawing and is quick to install. Retracts for storage and fits most cars.

Works perfectly for me. Easy to set and remove, heavy-duty feel, and the color is nice. I recommend it.

Good idea but manufacturing flaw
I liked the concept of a combination over a key, but the dials were so loose that one became immobile when mounted. I ended up having it cut off because it locked up. The tumblers need better quality control.

Robust and reassuring
A trustworthy device made from solid materials. Simple to install and the code can be changed in seconds. Ends are soft enough to avoid damaging the wheel. Slightly heavy, but that adds to the sense of quality — I’ve used it for months with no issues.

Combination problems intermittently
Seems sturdy and I liked avoiding a key, but one dial stuck once and I couldn’t unlock it. Later my husband managed to jiggle it free. It’s been useful overall but I worry about occasional faults.

Code failed to work
Item arrived but the combination mechanism did not function and I couldn’t find anywhere to get it fixed.

J. McRory 5/5
Sturdy and imposing
The unit’s heft alone makes it a strong deterrent. Placed on the wheel it looks intimidating and restricts steering when angled toward the seat. The large digits are handy. My only gripe is the small screw in the bar — it’s tricky to position and could be easier to handle for people with larger hands.

Pedro Extremera Campos 5/5
Solid, straightforward and protective
Given how modern cars can be compromised, I wanted a visible deterrent. This lock feels solid, the number setting is easy, and the finish protects the wheel. Good value for the quality.
