Product description

What you receive
One pair of men's insulated winter ski gloves, complete with a removable keeper leash. They come in typical men's sizing and are designed for downhill skiing, snowmobiling and general cold-weather activities.
Materials and construction
Shell fabric: 100% polyester. Trim: 91% polyester and 9% elastane laminated over a 100% polyester back. Palm surface: 100% polyurethane bonded to 100% polyester. Cuff: 94% polyester with 6% elastane. Internal insert: 100% polyurethane. Insulation: 100% polyester X-Loft synthetic fill. Lining: 100% polyester. As with many seasonal garments, some units are made domestically while others are imported.
Thermal and moisture management
These gloves use Kombi’s proprietary X-Loft synthetic insulation to provide loft, resilience and water resistance while reducing bulk. A Waterguard waterproof/breathable insert blocks external moisture and wind while allowing internal moisture to escape. The ACCU-DRI lining wicks sweat toward the shell to help keep hands drier during activity.
Protection, fit and functionality
The outer is a flexible three-layer softshell that resists abrasion and wind. The palm is a traction polyurethane that helps grip poles and handles and includes touch-screen compatible material on the fingertips. The gauntlet-style cuff features a bungee cinch to seal out snow, while a ladder-lock wrist cinch refines fit at the wrist. There’s a soft-stretch fleece inner cuff for added warmth and comfort and fingertip wrap-cap construction for reinforcement. A fabric nose-wipe on the thumb provides a discreet, absorbent surface for wiping a runny nose.
Use and care
Designed for active winter use, these gloves are intended to be worn with gauntlet cuffs over jacket sleeves for maximum snow protection. The removable leash prevents accidental loss when gloves are taken off during a break. Routine care follows standard washable synthetics guidelines; check the garment label for specific washing and drying instructions.
Brand background
Kombi began in Montreal in 1961 as a family company focused on cold-weather accessories. Over decades the company developed proprietary insulation and lining technologies and collaborates with experts to deliver garments that emphasize warmth, durability and moisture management across gloves, hats, socks and base layers.

Pros

  • Warm, resilient X‑Loft synthetic insulation
  • Waterproof/breathable insert with moisture-wicking lining
  • Durable PU palm with touchscreen compatibility

Cons

  • May feel insufficient in extreme subzero conditions for some users
  • Some will prefer a thicker palm for heavy-duty work
  • Limited color and style options

VerdictThese gloves combine thick synthetic loft with a waterproof, breathable barrier and a durable traction palm to handle alpine and recreational winter use. They balance warmth, dexterity and weather protection with thoughtful touches like a nose wipe, inner fleece cuff and removable keeper leash. For many users they offer dependable everyday performance in snowy conditions, though very cold testers
