Product description
This kit includes a ratchet-style hand plier with an ergonomic, non-slip grip; three interchangeable punch/setting dies sized 1/2" (12 mm), 3/8" (9.5 mm) and 1/4" (6 mm); and a set of 300 rust-resistant metal grommets divided across the three sizes. All components pack into a reinforced double-layer carrying case that keeps the tool and supplies organized for transport.
The pliers use a labor-saving ratchet mechanism to reduce the manual force required to crimp eyelets, plus a self-locking feature to help keep the tool closed when stored. A quick-release control is included to clear a jammed die without disassembling the tool. The punch dies screw into the head so you can swap sizes to match your project.
Grommets are made from corrosion-resistant metal suitable for outdoor use on tarps, PVC banners, vinyl, canvas, and similar materials. For dense or layered fabrics, the kit provides punching dies so you can pre-punch clean holes before setting the grommets. Typical applications include repairing sails, adding hanging points to banners, reinforcing tarp edges, and craft or upholstery projects.
Pros
- Includes three die sizes and 300 rust-resistant grommets
- Ratchet action reduces hand effort for setting eyelets
- Compact double-layer case keeps parts organized
Cons
- Tool latch can be awkward; may not lock fully closed
- Some fasteners on the tool use straight/slotted heads
- Case handle is rigid and takes more storage space
VerdictA solid, versatile eyelet kit that combines a ratcheting plier, three punch/setting dies and 300 corrosion-resistant grommets in a compact case. The ratchet and quick-release features reduce effort and speed up installation, and the ergonomic handles improve grip. A few users noted quirks with the latch, screw heads, and the rigid case handle, but overall it performs well for banners, tarps, canva

Received damaged units and poor replacement handling
First unit arrived slightly bent so the jaws misaligned. Replacement had the same issue and came in a torn box with parts loose. Seems like a returned item was resent as new. Buyer beware.

Robust and reliable
Sturdy eyelet pliers — tested with 12 mm grommets on a sunshade and all fixed perfectly. Very happy with the results.

Good product but pre-punch first
Simple, effective storage case. Use the punch first on curtains or thick material; otherwise it’s hard to set the grommet.

Easy to learn and durable so far
Was hesitant at first due to mixed feedback, but it was easy to figure out using online videos. I’ve used it on a banner and a few jobs — the case is sturdy and the tool has held up over seven months.

Satisfied after lots of use
Has done its job well after heavy use and includes plenty of eyelets to get started.

Works, but could use improvements
Nice overall kit that does what it claims. Three issues: the plier won’t stay fully latched unless the ratchet holds it; the screws for the dies use straight/slotted heads so be careful changing them; and the case handle doesn’t fold down, so it occupies extra space. Still well made and includes plenty of eyelets.
