Product description
Contents and size: This pack contains eight individual brayer rollers, each with a 1.4-inch rubber rolling surface. The set is intended to supply multiple users or to provide spares for workshops and home studios.
Materials and build: The rollers use molded rubber sleeves mounted on plastic cores with a simple plastic handle. The soft rubber gives a bit of flex to help distribute ink, paint, or adhesive.
How it’s used: Use these brayers for spreading ink on a plate, applying glue, smoothing printed areas, or pressing paint onto paper, fabric, or gel plates. They’re best suited to small blocks and narrow designs.
Care and cleaning: The smooth rubber surface resists heavy buildup and can be rinsed under warm water with mild soap after use. For glue applications, soaking immediately after use prevents hardened residue.
Practical notes: Lightweight and compact, the rollers are easy to carry in groups for classes or demonstrations. Their narrow width makes them unsuitable for large-area prints but handy for detail work, stamping, and small-format projects.
Pros
- Great quantity for group use
- Lightweight and easy to transport
- Rolls ink, paint, and glue smoothly for small areas
Cons
- Narrow width limits large prints
- Some units may emit a strong odor
- Fasteners or fit can loosen on occasion
VerdictThese eight compact 1.4-inch rubber brayers offer an affordable way to outfit a classroom or fill a studio drawer. The rollers deliver generally even coverage for glue and light ink work and are lightweight for transport. Some units can have odor or fit issues, and their narrow width limits use to small prints or detail work. Good for crafts, teaching, and quick projects, but inspect each roller i

Solid for adhesive work
Performs nicely for spreading glue. Rinse or soak after use to keep glue from hardening on the roller.

Handy for teaching small blocks
Perfect for teaching block printing on pieces around 2 x 2 inches. I wish they were a little wider, but their light weight makes transporting many easy.

Good value for classroom sets
Convenient and inexpensive when you need several small brayers; I bought a bunch for a workshop and they were serviceable.

Odor and loose parts
Arrived with a strong smell and the screws loosened on some pieces.

Good for tiny designs
They function well but are very small—useful for tiny prints and detail work.

Uneven surface, poor for printing
Rubber was very irregular and had a heavy tire-like odor. Coverage was streaky, so not suitable for clean block prints.

Didn't pick up ink for fabric
Hoped they'd work for fabric block printing but they failed to pick up ink reliably. The build seems decent, though; different ink might help.
